The “2010 Floating Soccer Balls” consist of a half floating and closable soccer ball that can seat 6 to 8 people. The “Floating Soccer Balls” built by our deaf students will be skippered by the disadvantaged youth of the Izuvunguvungu sailing trust known as the “seed school” for the Americas’ cup project Shosholoza.
A large fleet of passenger liners and super- and mega yachts are expected at the waterfront during the world cup and boat transport and tender services will need to be arranged in order to accommodate these visitors.
